WASHINGTON (AP) ? President Barack Obama plans to deliver the commencement address to the U.S. Air Force Academy, his fourth service academy graduation speech in four years.
The president will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., on Wednesday, just days after completing a NATO summit in Chicago where the U.S. and its allies firmed up plans for eventual withdrawal from Afghanistan at the end of 2014.
Since 2009, Obama has delivered commencement addresses at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.
Vice President Joe Biden also has delivered graduation speeches to the service academies.
