Don't adjust your screens, Red is brown! This six-month-old Boxer/Lab mix was relinquished to the animal shelter on Saturday, October 13th because the person who was watching the dog for a family member reported that the owner never came and picked him up. Since he has been surrendered to the shelter, the owner did pay Red a visit, but is unable to take him because he can't have him where he lives. Red is so happy and sweet, he really doesn't care who he lives with or where! Red is "very playful" according to the person who brought him to the shelter. He has received his first set of booster vaccinations and wormer. Red always has an expressive look on his face like the one pictured...he really melts your heart. Fall break (yesterday 10/25) Red and the other shelter dogs enjoyed a lot of walks as the volunteers flocked to the shelter! After closing all the dogs were relaxed in their Kuranda beds and very quiet! Red's adoption fee of $83.00 covers the cost of his rabies vaccination, Home Again microchip and registration as well as his neuter through Pets Alive Spay/Neuter Clinic.
