Yes, you went out of your way and bought her something special, but did you tell her why? How about this, "Hey babe, I know you have been wanting this, so I picked it up for you today (now here is the important part she wants) because I Love You." A good woman will truly appreciate the thought behind the gift, but go ahead and put the icing on the cake and say, "I love you." Many women do not feel loved unless they hear I love you often. You see, many women continually re-evaluate their relationships a lot more than men. If you do not say it, then she just might think your feelings have changed. So go ahead and tell her in so many words that you love her.

If you are not used to saying it, then make a point of thanking her for something routine like making dinner or acknowledging something she?s done well. Here is a good one--?I want you to know that I appreciate and love everything you do for me.?

2. Listen, Listen, Listen!

Imagine starting an important conversation with your girlfriend or wife only to notice her staring into space as you talk. Would you feel a little rejected? Being tactful can go a long way in keeping things light, but she should know about things that seriously bother you so compromise can be achieved. Too many couples let things go until they explode. Be tactful and look for the right time to bring these things up. Timing is everything!

Relationships are a two-way street, and the more you meet in the middle the better. If one gives too much, then things get out of balance and things will explode at some point.
